Can you believe that we are already halfway through March! This month has been flying by so fast! There are so many fun things happening in March, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, and SPRING!!!! Spring means finally warmer weather, checking out new walking trails, Frisbee Golf, and just spending time outside enjoying the beautiful weather! I absolutely love Spring!!!!
Since the weather is so nice outside, why not bring a little weather study inside your classroom! I used to dread teaching students about weather until I found some of these amazing ideas. Check them out below and click on the pictures to find out more!

Since Read Across America Week just ended, what better way to introduce weather than with Dr. Seuss and Cat in the Hat! If you do not have this book, it is a must add for your weather unit! It covers so many topics involving weather in a fun way!
My kids are loving Flippy Flaps this year so what better way to incorporate learning about the weather than with Flippy Flaps! The Flippy Flap is not book specific but pairs very nice with Oh Say Can You Say What’s the Weather Today? but can be used with any variety of weather related stories. These provide a fun, hands-on way for students to learn about the weather, clouds, tools, and so much more. Check out a preview below and click the cover to check out the product!
